Housestyle Takeover “A Journey Through House”

Nakternl Entertainment announces the return of its party series Housestyle Takeover “A Journey Through House,”. 

Bermuda’s premier party promoter is back with a bang! We have put together a series of parties with the aim to take you on “A Journey Through House” this summer. The aim of the parties is to add some diversity into Bermuda’s night life. We want to make Bermuda a destination where you can hear and experience quality House music events. 

We have some of House music’s most accomplished DJs flying in from the UK, US, and Canada with each of them eager to share their passion and love for House music. This will allow you to have an unrestrained party experience that you are accustomed to at Housestyle Takeover gathering. We promise that each DJ will showcase House music and take you on “A Journey Through House” uniquely, no two nights will be the same. 

Parties are scheduled throughout the summer on March 18th, May 27th, July 15th, September 16th, and November 19th. Each night will be held at Karma Night Club located at 95 Front Street Hamilton Bermuda. Tickets are currently available now on the website click here. With March 18th being our official launch date, we are opening the summer season with the following DJs: 

Booker T – Grammy Nominated Producer/Remixer & DJ

Booker T is one of the UK’s most prolific and respected producers and DJs in the house music scene.

He started DJing when he was 14, cutting his teeth spinning Reggae, Soul, Funk, Boogie, Hip Hop and Rare Grooves.  As a youth, Booker T honed his skills spinning in sound systems, school parties and the local youth centers in Brixton. You can read more about Booker T here.

Micfreak – Producer/DJ

MicFreak is a DJ, producer, musician and song writer and Managing Director of Quantize Recordings third label, QU3. Originally from the Philippines now based in Baltimore Maryland. Micfreak makes the most exquisite dance music making a raising star in the house music scene. You can read about Micfreak here.

Candice McKenzie – DJ/Radio Personality/Head of A&R Quantize Recordings

Candice McKenzie is an award-winning DJ, Radio Presenter and Head of A&R & ‘Talent Tuesday’ Producer at House Music label Quantize Recordings. She has been DJing since 1999 and specializes in Gospel & Inspirational House Music although she can extend to other genres including Garage, Club, and Dance. you can read more about Candice here.

Mike Shawr – Producer/DJ/Nakternl Entertainment

Mike Shawr is Bermuda’s top House music DJ and owner of the country’s leading entertainment company, Nakternl Entertainment. Since 2015, Mike Shawr has been  on the forefront of revitalizing House music in Bermuda. Resulting in him becoming one of the driving forces and face of House music throughout the island.
